Montgomery (Monty) Huff was born in Cambridge, Ohio and moved to the Tampa Bay area at the age of five (5).
Monty started his career in the electrical field in 1985 as an apprentice with Professional Electric Construction, Inc. Attending and graduating a 4 year certified State of Florida Electrical Apprentice program was part of this apprenticeship.

In 1996, Monty began working with Imperial Electric & Air Conditioning, Inc. as a Field Project Supervisor, and was quickly promoted to Project Manager. His responsibilities included client/contractor contacts, estimating, project management & supervision, invoicing, project closeout and warranty. Monty’s experience encompasses diverse types of electrical installations, from ground-up shopping plazas to new multilevel and low-rise office buildings. Some of the projects completed over the years include, Restaurants at Airside “C” at TIA., A La Carte Event Pavilion Tampa, bank projects both new and remodel, IT rooms for corporate infrastructure, generator systems, major lab renovations for Quest Diagnostics, HCC Brandon Campus Phase 1 and physical plant, Corporate jet hangars at TIA, and much more.

Monty specializes in Class A commercial interior build-outs, both first generation and remodels. For the last 20 years he has been responsible for millions of square feet of electrical installations in some of the bay area’s finest office buildings. Project sizes range from small tenant up-fits to contracts in excess of $1,000,000.00. Monty also does vendor engineering, design build, and consulting with some of the most reputable engineering firms in the area.
